Rev. Dr. Terry Atkinson grew up just outside Moncton, New Brunswick. Before entering ministry, he worked as a social worker for 10 years. Over the next 35 years, Terry pastored in four churches across the Maritimes and one in Ontario. Married to Brenda for 53 years, they have two children and six grandchildren. Terry has served on the Board of Governors at Crandall University and on the council of the Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada (CBAC). He has also participated in two mission trips with Canadian Baptist Ministries—one to Eastern Europe and another to Africa. Terry loves sports, enjoys walks with Brenda, and together they cherish traveling—especially to Ontario and Alberta to spend time with family.
