Winston Woo

Winston Woo, CA, MBA, is the Executive Director of Tax and Pensions for the J2 Group. He serves on the management board for the Ideal Canadian Pension Plan (ICPP) and CAAT DB Plus’s stakeholders committee. Winston is also a member of FSRA’s technical advisory committee for single-employer DB pension plans and serves as a member on the Investment Committee for Canadian Baptist of Ontario and Quebec (CBOQ). In 2017, he was appointed by the Finance Minister to the stakeholder reference group for reforming Ontario’s solvency funding rules. Additionally, Winston is on Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME)’s Ontario Advisory Board, heads its Finance and Tax Committee, and is a past president of Tax Executives Institute (TEI) Toronto chapter.
