Winston Woo is a recognized leader in advancing Canadian tax competitiveness and pension modernization, bringing over 30 years of expertise in taxation, corporate leadership, pension management, and board governance. Currently serving on the Pension & Investment Committee, Winston has held numerous leadership roles in the not-for-profit sector, where he remains actively engaged. He is Secretary of the Board of Directors for Markham Chinese Baptist Church and an advisor to the Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec (CBOQ) Investment Committee. His previous roles include President of the Toronto Chapter of the Tax Executives Institute (TEI), Director of the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) Ontario Advisory Board, Director of the ICPP Pension Management Board, and service on CBOQ’s Board of Directors and Finance Oversight Committee. He also chaired CME’s Finance and Tax Committee. Winston was recently recognized by Benefits and Pension Monitor as one of the Top Financial Executives in the benefits, pensions, and institutional investment industries. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Denver.
